One of Our Favorite Things

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

Many people have helped to make Bailey's experience on earth very special. We received some wonderful gifts that have been so enjoyable and fun to see Bailey use and experience.

P.S. In this video I didn't mention Omai who also helped make the moment possible by assembling the swing. Thanks babe.

After many hours of hard work and with a touch of love, Bailey's room is finally complete.

Bailey has Arrived!

Monday, April 6, 2009

I opened up this window 20 minutes ago in hopes of telling you all about the birth of our little girl Bailey, but I was somewhat delayed having to address a hiccup attack and a poopy diaper. In the meantime I got distracted trying to get a bow glued to Bailey's head. Phew. I think we're all set now.

Our little girl, Bailey Manea Graybill, was born Monday, March 30th. After many phone calls to the hospital Monday morning to make sure there was a bed and a nurse available for us, we made it to the hospital at about 11:30 AM. Things progressed slowly throughout the day and at 5:00 PM the doctor broke my water and I received an epidural about a half hour later. Things continued to progress until Bailey was born at 11:21 PM. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long.

She is very healthy and happy and I've managed to get quite a few smiles out of her. They might just be gas smiles, but they're smiles nonetheless. Here are a few pictures when she was five days old. We both think she's the cutest thing in the whole wide world, but what parent doesn't think that of their own child right?...
